We highly recommend Lake Country Log and Cedar. The quote to restore our log home, log garage and deck was exceptionally reasonable. I only wish we obtained a job estimate from Jesse, the owner, the first time we treated the place. The crew were professional. They offered suggestions on color stains. We were so pleased with how the crew were able to closely match the finish on a new log garage with the color stain on our 40 year old cabin. Their restoration results were beyond our expectations. Really impressed. They cleaned up after themselves. The place looked better than before the restoration begin. They wiped clean the Windows and doors, and removed all debris. The colors they recommended for our porch and deck complimented the cabin!  Before you commission any work with another restoration firm....contact Lake Country Log and Cedar first.

Jesse and his crew all 7 guys were truly a blessing to work with. We are restoring a 7 bedroom tri level log home built in 1995 a 27 year old home that's never been blasted or stained professionally, built by my mother. His guys were a joy and were friendly with our family pets and dealt with me hovering learning everything I could. They worked fast and precisely despite weather challenges. The house looks the best it has in years. We bought a cottage with log siding that desperately needed some tlc. We found LCL&C from a google search and set up a consult at the site. Jessie and his team recently did a restaining of our summer home with rough sawn siding, starting with a complete power-wash of the entire building and ending with cleaning the windows afterward. Very satisfactory result.

We are first time log home owners and Lake Country Log & Cedar did a great job restoring our logs on our newly purchased home. It hadn’t been done in 10+ years. They started from scratch, taking all of the old stain off and reapplied a great quality stain. Jesse did a great job communicating and educating us on maintenance for the future. Jessie and his crew were fantastic. The professionalism and care  his team took I thought was exceptional. Jessie was very concerned about  how his team left the condition of the job site everyday. Jesse and his crew were great. They blasted and stained our 2.5 story cedar house (shakes, shingles, and deck). Jesse always got back  to us quickly, was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. Without a double, we will be calling him again when our house needs to be stained.

We have a 100 plus year old cabin that Jesse and his crew worked  on. Our place has had three expansions on it over the years and the exterior needed a lot of work. They not only repaired and replaced the logs but also the foundation in several areas, as well as corrected some poorly designed junctions where the cabin had been expanded. The final product looked fantastic! We have had comments by neighbors who have said that it looks brand new. Which for a place over 100 years old is saying quite a bit. I would highly recommend Jesse and his  crew if you need any work done. They are very detailed and care about the end result.

Jesse and his crew worked magic on our 11 year old cabin. It is a small cabin, but a big job as it had been let go over the years. The  sanding was incredibly messy, but the crew made sure to leave it immaculate afterwards. The stain on the cabin and deck made it look new. Good communication and a more than fair price.

We hired Jesse and his crew to refinish our screen porch at our lake house. They did a great job...a good portion of the wood had some serious mold growing under the stained surface. His corn blasting technique was very effective. They also stained and painted the walls and ceiling. We are very pleased and would not only hire him again, but would recommend him to others.
